We think that vacationing in the Smokies should be about the experience and not about spending time in your car. That's why when we first searched for a cabin to purchase, a location close to the action of Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg was important to us. Both of our cabins are in Sherwood Forest Resort which is just 1.3 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway at Light #10. While our location is convenient, the mountain setting makes it seem like you are far way from the city... perfect for relaxing. The views of the Smoky Mountains are stunning!

"Where is Sherwood Forest Resort?"
Sherwood Forest Resort is located on Rush Branch Road just 1.3 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway at traffic light #10 (Conner Heights Road). This is the last traffic light at the southern end of Pigeon Forge on the way to Gatlinburg.

"What are the roads to your cabin like?"
We often get this question from travelers. If you want a log cabin community near the Pigeon Forge Parkway that is easy to get to, then Sherwood Forest Resort may be the place for you! There are no scary roads, no cliffs, and no steep drop-offs on the way to the resort. The roads are all well-paved and are not overly steep.
(A 4WD or AWD vehicle or tire chains will be needed during snow/ice events.)
